Cali Collective

This two-year fellowship program within the Artist Diploma Program prepares young professional classical musicians for careers integrating performance, teaching community engagement, advocacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership.  Monthly performances in partnership with Music for All Seasons.  Full tuition plus a modest stipend.

Master’s

This two-year master’s degree will challenge you in all areas – not just strings.  Master of Music students are encouraged to be curious and resourceful, because however great one’s musicianship the successful musician can only sustain a satisfying career through constant artistic and professional renewal, drawing from a diverse range of professional challenges and opportunities that a musical life presents.

Bachelor of Performance

The B.Mus. program in Performance focuses on the mastery of technical skills, broad solo and ensemble experience, and the nurturing of artistic growth to help students reach their full potential.  As a string student at Cali, you are offered extensive performance opportunities in the symphony orchestra, chamber music and solo.  The string area is small and intimate.  You’ll never be rostered off and you’ll never get lost in the crowd.

Music Ed

Our five-year program will prepare you for all facets and levels of music teaching careers in New Jersey’s public schools, private or out-of-state schools. We offer the highest quality, comprehensive preparation for New Jersey’s music education licensure. Upon successful completion of the BMus program, you will receive initial licensure from the state of New Jersey. Music education majors comprise the largest concentration within the Cali School. You will have first-class performing opportunities that we hope will lead you to be active in your musical field throughout your life.

Music Therapy

Established in 1969, our program is one of the country’s oldest and most distinguished. It features closely supervised clinical work each semester at highly reputable New Jersey facilities as well as schools, nursing homes and hospitals in New York City.
